Terms of Service

Welcome to Dopppel ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), operated by Dopppel AI, LLC. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Dopppel is a chat-based, multi-modal AI assistant for personal productivity, information, and conversation. For questions, contact us at help@dopppelai.com.

2. Registration and Access

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or use of the Service, and to keep your registration and contact information up to date.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Using Our Services

  • Compliance: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prohibited Uses: You may not use the Service:
    • To violate any law or infringe anyone's rights.
    • To send spam or unsolicited communications.
    • To access, use, or publish material that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
    • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

4. Content

  • Your Content: You retain any ownership rights in the content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and process your content to operate and improve the Service.
  • AI-Generated Content: Content generated by our AI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or reliability.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of any information you submit or receive via the Service.

5. Our Intellectual Property Rights

  • All software, text, images, trademarks, and other content on the Service (other than user-submitted content) are owned by or licensed to Dopppel AI, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or its content without our written permission.

6. Termination and Suspension

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal or harmful conduct.
  • If your account is terminated, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain your data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate or reliable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dopppel AI, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access or use of our servers; or (c) any content obtained through the Service.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dopppel AI, LLC and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated by content on the Service, please send a notice to help@dopppelai.com, including a description of the work and your contact information. We will respond as required by applicable law (such as the DMCA).

12. SMS and Text Messaging

SMS consent and your phone number. We do not share SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes with any third parties or affiliate companies for marketing purposes. This information stays with us and the messaging vendor that delivers texts on our behalf, and that vendor may not use it for its own marketing.

Types of SMS communications. Text messages sent through Dopppel are for conversational purposes. We do not use them to send you marketing or promotional offers. Standard messaging disclosures apply.

Opt-in method. You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Dopppel AI, LLC verbally, during a conversation. We keep a record of your consent, including when you gave it. This is the only way we add your number to SMS messaging — we will not text you because someone else gave us your number.

Message frequency. Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication.

Potential fees for SMS messaging. Carriers may charge fees for each message sent or received. These fees can vary based on your carrier's pricing and whether the message is sent domestically or internationally.

Opt-out. You can stop text messages sent through Dopppel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Once you opt out, you will receive no further SMS communication. You can opt back in at any time by replying START.

Help. If you are having any trouble, reply HELP to any message you receive. You can also get help directly from us at www.dopppelai.com or by emailing help@dopppelai.com.

Standard messaging disclosures.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Standard messaging rates will be charged by your mobile service provider.
  • You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting "STOP" to the number from which you received the message.
  • For assistance, reply "HELP" to any message, or visit our Privacy Policy.

13. General Terms

  • Severability: If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest will remain in effect.
  • Changes: We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes in advance, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of those changes.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Dopppel AI, LLC regarding your use of the Service.
