Write a document with Dopppel
Ask for a letter, a plan, a report or a list. It opens in a panel next to the chat, so the whole thing is readable without filling up the chat.

What it is
Some answers are too long to live in a chat bubble. A letter, a plan, a report, notes, a packing list — you want to read the whole thing at once.
So Dopppel puts it in a panel next to the chat. The chat stays a chat, and the document sits beside it where you can read it top to bottom. Short lists count too.
It is yours to change. Ask Dopppel to fix a line, or click the pencil and type in it yourself. When you are happy with it, save it to your computer. Asking for a fix, typing in it yourself and saving it all need an account. Signed out, the document still opens beside the chat — but nothing is kept, so leave or refresh and it is gone.
How to use it
- 1Ask for what you want — "write me a thank-you letter" or "make me a packing list".
- 2Read it in the panel next to the chat.
- 3Sign in, then change it. Ask Dopppel to fix something, or click the pencil and type.
- 4Click the download arrow at the top of the panel to save it. That needs an account too.

Can Dopppel write a document for me?
Yes. Ask for a draft, a plan, a report, notes or a list, and it writes it.
Where does the document show up?
In a panel next to the chat, so you can read the whole thing at once instead of scrolling through the chat.
Can I change it after it is written?
Yes, once you are signed in. Ask Dopppel to fix or add something, or click the pencil and type in it yourself.
Can I save it to my computer?
Yes, once you are signed in. Click the download arrow at the top of the panel. You can save it as a PDF, a Word file, plain text, markdown or a web page.
Do I need an account?
Not to see one. Ask signed out and the document still opens beside the chat. But nothing is kept: leave or refresh and it is gone, and you cannot change it or save it. Sign in and you can keep it, change it and save it.
Can I undo a change Dopppel made?
Yes. When Dopppel changes a document, a bar says "Dopppel changed this" with a button to put it back. The bar waits for you, so it is still there if you come back later, on your phone too.
