How do I put Dopppel on my phone?
Dopppel works in your phone's browser, so there is nothing to download. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, with its own icon.

What it is
There is no app store step. Dopppel is a web page, so it already works in Safari or Chrome on your phone. But a web page in a tab is easy to lose.
Adding it to your home screen fixes that. You get a Dopppel icon next to your other apps. Tap it and Dopppel opens on its own, full screen, with no address bar in the way. It is the same Dopppel and the same chats.
On an iPhone there is one more reason to do it. Apple only sends alerts from a site you added to your home screen. So if you want Dopppel to ping your phone when a reminder goes off or a friend writes, add it first.
How to use it
- 1On an iPhone or iPad, open www.dopppelai.com in Safari.
- 2Tap the share button — the square with the arrow going up — then tap "Add to Home Screen".
- 3On an Android phone, open www.dopppelai.com in Chrome, tap the three dots, then tap "Add to Home screen".
- 4Tap the new Dopppel icon on your home screen to open it.
- 5Sign in once, and it stays signed in the next time you tap the icon.

Is there a Dopppel app in the App Store?
No, and you do not need one. Add the web page to your home screen and it looks and opens like an app.
Does it cost anything?
No. Dopppel is free, and adding it to your home screen is free.
Will my chats still be there?
Yes. It is the same Dopppel, so signing in shows the same chats you have on your computer.
Why will my iPhone not send me alerts?
Apple only sends alerts from a site you added to your home screen. Add Dopppel first, open it from the icon, then turn on the alerts you want in Settings.
Can I put it on my computer too?
Yes. Chrome and Edge show an install button in the address bar, and it opens Dopppel in its own window.
