Set a reminder with Dopppel

Tell Dopppel to remind you and it will. Reminders can repeat, they can go on your Google Calendar, and they keep the clock time you asked for.

What it is

You do not fill in a form for this. You say it the way you would say it out loud: "remind me tomorrow at 9 to call the bank". Dopppel sets it.

It can be a one-time nudge, or one that comes back — every morning, every Monday. When the time comes, the reminder shows up in Dopppel. It can also ping your phone and land in your email. In Settings, under Notifications, there is a switch for each of those: one for Dopppel, one for your phone, one for email. Keep the ones you want and turn off the rest.

If you connect your Google Calendar, your reminders land there as well, next to everything else you have on.

How to use it

  1. 1Ask, in plain words: "remind me Friday at 5 to move the car".
  2. 2Say if it should come back — "every Monday at noon" — and it will.
  3. 3Connect your Google Calendar if you want them on your calendar too.
  4. 4Open Reminders in the side menu to see everything you have set.

Questions

Can Dopppel remind me?

Yes. Just ask, like "remind me tomorrow at 9 to call the bank".

Can a reminder repeat?

Yes. Ask for every day, or every Monday, and it comes back on its own.

Will it go on my calendar?

It can. Connect your Google Calendar and your reminders land there too.

What if the clocks change?

Your reminder keeps the clock time you asked for. If you said 9 in the morning, it still comes at 9 in the morning after the clocks move.

Can I cancel a reminder by asking?

No. Dopppel cannot cancel one for you yet. Open Reminders in the side menu and delete it there.
