How do I start a chat with Dopppel?
Type a question and Dopppel answers. You do not need an account to start, but signing in is what keeps your chats.

What it is
A chat is one conversation. You ask, Dopppel answers, and you keep going as long as you like. Everything you said earlier in that chat stays in front of it, so you can say "make it shorter" and it knows what you mean.
Signed out, a chat is not saved. Leave the page or refresh it and the chat is gone. That is on purpose — nothing is kept about you until you say so.
Signed in, every new chat is saved. They sit in a list, newest first, so you can open one from last week and pick up where you stopped. Dopppel gives each chat a short name on its own, and you can rename it.
How to use it
- 1Open www.dopppelai.com. The box in the middle is where you type.
- 2Type your question and press send. Or tap the mic and say it out loud.
- 3Keep going in the same chat for anything on the same topic.
- 4Tap the new chat button at the top to start a fresh one for a new topic.
- 5Sign in for free to keep every chat in a list you can come back to.
Questions
Do I need an account to chat?
No. You can ask Dopppel anything right away. But nothing is saved until you sign in.
Where do my old chats go?
Into a list in the side menu, newest first. Tap Chats to see them all. On a phone that opens a full page.
When should I start a new chat?
When you change topic. Dopppel reads the whole chat it is in, so a fresh topic works better in a fresh chat.
Can I rename a chat?
Yes. Dopppel names each one on its own, and you can change that name to whatever you want.
Does Dopppel remember an old chat?
Once you sign in, yes. It keeps the helpful bits from your chats and uses them in new ones. Read the Memory page for what it keeps.
